Hida Great Limestone Cave is a large, naturally formed limestone cave in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture, which has been developed for tourism.   • Nearest station: JR Takayama Station is the nearest major station (most commonly accessed from Takayama city center).
  • Bus: Depending on the season and itinerary, it is possible to access the area by local bus or tourist bus from Takayama Station or Takayama City. Timetables and operation may change depending on the season, so we recommend checking in advance.
  • By car: Accessing the area from the Takayama area is convenient. Parking is often available on-site, which is convenient for families or those with lots of luggage (please check the official website for parking availability and fees).
