Nojimazaki is a cape located at the southern tip of the Boso Peninsula in Minamiboso City, Chiba Prefecture. Its cliffs jutting out into the Pacific Ocean and expansive seascapes are captivating, and on clear days you can sometimes see the Izu Islands and Mount Fuji in the distance. Its symbol, Nojimazaki Lighthouse, has historically been an important landmark for sea routes, and the surrounding area is equipped with promenades, observation decks, photo spots where you can get a close-up view of the ocean, parks around the lighthouse, and souvenir shops. It is also known as a famous spot for watching sunsets over the sea, making it popular with couples and photography enthusiasts.
