Shinagawa Aquarium is an urban aquarium located in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, which opened in 1991. Taking advantage of its location facing Tokyo Bay, it displays a wide variety of marine life, from familiar creatures to tropical fish from the south. Major attractions include the large indoor aquarium, dolphin and sea lion shows, penguin exhibits, and touch pools, making it popular with families, couples, and school field trips. Despite being located in an urban area, it also has a wide range of explanatory exhibits that teach about aquatic ecosystems and conservation, making it an attractive attraction.

- Dolphin and sea lion show:The show, held in an indoor pool, can be enjoyed regardless of the weather. Highlights include the combinations with the trainers and jumps.
- Large aquarium:A large aquarium where a variety of tropical fish and large fish swim. The design allows you to feel the underwater current, allowing you to observe them at your leisure.

- congestion:The park is extremely crowded on weekends, public holidays, spring and summer holidays, Golden Week, and the New Year holidays. We recommend reserving seats for shows early.
- Manners:Please follow the instructions in the museum regarding how to touch the exhibits, whether flash photography is permitted, etc. To avoid stressing the animals, please refrain from shouting and only touch creatures that are permitted to be touched.
- Weather/Clothing:The museum is mainly made up of indoor exhibits, but there may be moving or outdoor areas. Please dress appropriately for the season, and be aware of the temperature difference between indoors and outdoors, especially in summer.
