Nagasakibana is a cape (a headland jutting out into the sea) at the southern tip of the Satsuma Peninsula in Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture. It is known for its magnificent ocean views and, on clear days, the spectacular view of Mt. Kaimon (Satsuma Fuji) on the opposite shore, making it a popular tourist spot among locals. At the tip of the cape, there is a Kannon statue, a promenade, and an observation space, making it a popular spot for views across the sea and sunsets. The surrounding area has a warm climate, with many flowers and warm-colored plants, and the area looks different with each season.

- Observation point: From the tip of the cape you can see the ocean view and horizon, and on clear days you can see Mt. Kaimon. It is also a popular spot for watching the sunrise and sunset.

- Promenades and walking trails: There are promenades along the coast where you can enjoy the sea breeze as you stroll. There are also rocky areas and small rocky shores nearby.

- Nearest station: JR Ibusuki Makurazaki Line, Ibusuki Station (Ibusuki Station is the nearest central station).
- public transport:
- By train from Kagoshima Chuo Station: Approximately 50-60 minutes to Ibusuki Station by express or tourist train (depending on the train type and timetable). From Ibusuki Station, take a bus or taxi towards the cape (approximately 20-30 minutes by bus, 15-20 minutes by taxi).
- Local bus from Ibusuki Station: Please check the timetable in advance as there may be seasonal and limited service.
- By car: Approximately 60-90 minutes on public roads from central Kagoshima City (depending on traffic conditions). Access via national and prefectural roads. Parking is available around the cape (some free, some paid).
- Parking and facilities: Many areas have parking spaces, toilets, shops, etc. for tourists, but this varies depending on the season and facility operation status, so we recommend checking in advance.

- Ibusuki Onsen (Sand Bath) — A typical Ibusuki hot spring experience, the sand bath is a speciality, where you warm up by being buried in sand.
- Mt. Kaimon - A beautiful conical mountain known as "Satsuma Fuji." Climbing and the view from the base are popular.
- Chiringashima - A small island that can be reached by foot via a sandbar that connects to the mainland at low tide.
- Lake Ikeda - A scenic lake with an observation deck and restaurants nearby.
- Local roadside stations and tourist facilities - You can purchase local specialties (sweet potatoes, mandarin oranges, confectionery, etc.) and enjoy snacks.

- Crowds: Parking lots and observation areas may become crowded during consecutive holidays and tourist seasons (Golden Week, summer vacation, New Year's, etc.). Please allow yourself plenty of time.
- Weather and sea conditions: The cape can be windy and have high waves on some days, so please be careful when approaching the edge of the coast or playing on the rocks. In bad weather, the area may be closed or prohibited from entry.
