- From Yasugi Station: Approximately 10 minutes by taxi. There are also local buses and shuttle buses that run directly to the museum (please check the official website or the station in advance for schedules and operating status).
- Access by car: Use the San'in Expressway or other public roads. There is a parking lot at the museum (paid/free depending on the season).
- From surrounding major cities: The location makes it easy to visit on a day trip from tourist destinations such as Matsue and Izumo, and it is easy to incorporate into your sightseeing route.

- Crowds: The gardens are crowded during the cherry blossom, fresh greenery, and autumn foliage seasons, Golden Week and other consecutive holidays, and during group tour times. Since it can be difficult to get the best spot in the gardens during busy times, we recommend visiting on a weekday or right after opening.
- Manners inside the museum: Photography is prohibited in many areas of the exhibition room (please follow the signs inside the museum). Loud voices, running, and touching exhibits are strictly prohibited.
- Garden precautions: The plants and rockwork in the garden are very delicate. Please do not enter restricted areas and follow the signs and paths.
- Clothing and shoes: We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes in the garden. Please be careful when it rains as some areas can be slippery.
