- Taxi: It is convenient to take a taxi from Takahagi Station. The travel time will vary depending on the route and traffic conditions, but as a guide it will take about 20 to 30 minutes (this may vary depending on the situation).
- Private car: Using your own car or a rental car is the most convenient and offers the most flexibility. There are parking lots (both free and paid) scattered around the valley, but it is recommended to arrive early as they can get crowded during the autumn foliage season.

- Footing and Clothing: There are stone steps and slippery areas on some parts of the trail. Wear comfortable shoes (trekking shoes or sneakers) and clothing that allows for easy movement. Be careful of mud and falling rocks after rain.
- Weather-related dangers: The river can be dangerous when the water level rises or immediately after heavy rain. Do not enter the area when the water level is high.
- Nature conservation and etiquette: Please be sure to take your trash with you, do not pick plants, and do not write graffiti on any property. Please be considerate and enjoy nature quietly.
