Funaoka Castle Ruins Park (Shibata Town, Miyagi Prefecture) is a park developed on a small hill where a mountain castle once stood. It is a place where you can enjoy the changing nature of the seasons while preserving the topography and remains of the castle ruins. While conveying the atmosphere of the castle ruins, which are believed to have been built in the Middle Ages, the park also has observation spots and walking paths, making it a popular place of relaxation for local residents and tourists alike. The cherry blossoms in spring are particularly spectacular, and the park is widely known as a famous spot for flower viewing, with the charm of different scenery that changes with the seasons. Admission is generally free, making it an easy place to visit.

- By car: There is a parking lot near the park, but it can get crowded, especially during cherry blossom season, so we recommend arriving early. Parking spaces are limited, so we also recommend using public transportation.
- Note: The park is generally open all day (admission is free), but there may be traffic restrictions and parking restrictions during events such as the Cherry Blossom Festival.
