Jindai Botanical Gardens is a large urban botanical garden located in Chofu City, Tokyo. Developed after the war as a base for urban greening and plant preservation, it is popular with locals and tourists as a place where a wide variety of plants can be observed throughout the four seasons. The gardens are well-balanced with a rose garden, Japanese garden, greenhouse, large flower beds and woodland, and offer a wealth of seasonal attractions. The park is also used for strolling, photography and learning about plants, and is bustling with families and photographers on weekends.

- Rose Garden:Many varieties bloom in spring and autumn, and events such as the Rose Festival are held, allowing you to enjoy the contrast of fragrance and color.
- Japanese Garden:The tranquil scenery allows you to enjoy the changing seasons. The pond, stonework, and plantings are beautifully combined.
- Greenhouse (greenhouse display):You can observe tropical and subtropical plants, succulents, and rare flowering trees all year round. Special exhibitions are also held depending on the season.
- Seasonal flower beds:Daffodils, azaleas, hydrangeas, dahlias, cosmos and other flowers are planted with each season, adding color to the walking paths.

- Train + Bus: From major stations such as the Keio Line or JR, get off at Chofu Station or a nearby station, then take a Keio bus bound for Jindai Botanical Gardens or Jindaiji Temple. It's just a few minutes' walk from the bus stop. Routes and times vary depending on the departure station, so be sure to check the route search in advance.
- Walking: It is accessible on foot from the Jindaiji Temple area. If you are planning to explore the Jindaiji Temple approach as well, it is recommended to walk there (time required will depend on the starting point).
- By car: There may be paid parking lots near the park, but they tend to fill up on weekends and during events, so we recommend using public transportation. Please check in advance whether parking is available, the fees, and the number of spaces.
- Bicycles: There may be bicycle parking spaces around the school. Please follow local instructions regarding long-term use and handling during busy times.

Things to be aware of (crowds, manners, seasonal precautions, etc.)
- congestion:It tends to get crowded during the spring flower season, when the roses are in full bloom, and on weekends and holidays. However, if you visit early in the morning or on a weekday, you will have a better chance of seeing the flowers at your leisure.
- Manners:Collecting or taking home plants is prohibited. Please do not enter flower beds or protected areas, and be considerate to other visitors.
- Pets:Please follow the rules of the park regarding whether pets are allowed in and the rules. Most parks require pets to be kept on a leash and to clean up their waste.
- Weather/Clothing:In addition to paved roads, the park also has dirt paths and grass. After rain, some areas can become muddy, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. In the summer, the sun can be strong in some areas, so please bring a hat and a drink.
