[Overview (history, characteristics, attractions)]
Tokyo Disneyland is a theme park located within Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture, and opened in April 1983. As the first Disney park in Asia, it has been loved by Japanese families and tourists from overseas for many years since its opening. Comprised of multiple themed lands, including Fantasyland, Adventureland, and Tomorrowland, with Cinderella Castle at its center, the park boasts attractions that faithfully recreate the world of Disney characters, parades, and seasonal shows and events. With a wide variety of attractions exclusive to Tokyo Disney Resort and specially designed attractions for Japan (greetings, food, merchandise, etc.), one of its greatest features is that it can be enjoyed no matter how many times you visit.

[Points to note (crowds, etiquette, seasonal precautions, etc.)]
- Crowd Information: The park is extremely crowded on weekends, national holidays, and long holiday periods (Golden Week, summer vacation, Halloween, Christmas, and New Year's). We recommend purchasing your admission ticket in advance and arriving early.
- Tickets and admission: Please purchase tickets in advance via the official app or official website for a specific date and time. Tickets may be sold out on the day of the event.
- Reduce waiting times for attractions: Check wait times on the official app, and take advantage of Disney Premier Access (paid) and other priority entry services. Check the official website for the latest information.
- Measures to take before and after the park opens: Be careful of your surroundings as rushing to get to the park when it opens will increase congestion. When the park closes, be careful of crowds on the way home (trains and buses).
- Weather precautions: In the summer, it can be hot and humid, so be sure to take precautions against heatstroke (hats, water, and rest). In the event of rain, outdoor attractions and parades may be suspended, so be sure to bring a raincoat.
- What to bring and manners: There are some items that are prohibited from being brought in (such as dangerous items) and there are areas where photography is prohibited. There are restrictions on photography and videography on rides, and you must follow the instructions of cast members. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas. Strollers and wheelchairs are available for rental.
- Photos/Photography: When it is crowded, there are often lines to take photos with characters. Please be considerate of other guests when taking photos.
- Facility maintenance: Popular attractions may be temporarily closed for regular inspections, so be sure to check the operating status on the official website or app in advance.
(Note) The latest events, attraction operation status, priority entry services, and infection control rules are frequently updated. Please be sure to check the latest information on the official website or official app before visiting.
