- Nearest station: Kudanshita Station (Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, Hanzomon Line, Toei Shinjuku Line). Approximately a 5-minute walk from the exit (travel time varies depending on the exit).
- Other nearby stations: Takebashi (Tokyo Metro Tozai Line), about a 10-minute walk; Iidabashi (JR and various lines), about a 15-minute walk.
- Bus/Taxi: Take a city bus or taxi and get off at Kitanomaru Park/Budokan. Public transportation is convenient as the surrounding roads tend to be congested during events.
- Car/Parking: Parking spaces around the venue are limited and often unavailable during events, so we recommend using public transportation.

- Viewing the exterior and strolling around the area only: 20 to 60 minutes (1 to 2 hours if you include Kitanomaru Park and Chidorigafuchi).

- Touring the building: Generally, you can only enter the inside of the Budokan when an event is being held. If you want to see the inside, please check whether there are tickets for a performance or tournament or whether there are any official tours available.
- Crowds: On concert and major event days, the nearest station and surrounding roads will be extremely congested. We recommend arriving early and planning ways to avoid crowds on the way home (by setting a meeting place and time).
- Security/Baggage Inspection: Baggage inspections and restrictions on what can be brought into the venue are often implemented during events. Please check the prohibited items and restrictions on what can be brought into the venue in advance.
- Photography and recording: Photography is generally allowed outdoors, but please follow the organizer's rules when taking photos or recording during events or performances (photography and recording are prohibited at most concerts).
