It has long been a popular place for ascetic practices and pilgrimages, and is characterized by its abundant nature and historical scenery. The stone steps on the approach to the mountain, the cedar grove, and the view of the Mikawa Plain from near the summit attract many visitors, and the scenery is particularly beautiful in the fall when the leaves change color.
