Nearby spots

Things to be aware of (crowds, manners, seasonal precautions, etc.)
- Crowds: The park is extremely crowded on weekends, holidays, Golden Week, summer vacation, the New Year holidays, and during illumination events. Popular attractions can have long wait times, so we recommend entering the park early, visiting on weekdays, and using official priority tickets (if available).
- Weather: As many of the attractions are outdoors, service may be suspended or restricted in the event of rain or strong winds. Please check the weather forecast and official website for operating status.
- Seasonal precautions: Take precautions against the sun and heatstroke in summer (hats, water, and rest), and take precautions against the cold in winter. The water park is only open during the summer.
- Onsen etiquette: At hot spring facilities, you should be mindful of tattoos and bathing etiquette (how to use the soap dispenser, how to handle towels, etc.). Be sure to check the rules of each facility in advance.
- What to bring/wear: We recommend comfortable clothing and shoes. Some attractions have height restrictions, so be sure to check the age and height of your companions. Consider using a locker to store your luggage.
- Tickets and Payment: In addition to same-day tickets, advance tickets and set tickets may also be available. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance to avoid waiting at the counter during busy times. Cashless payment is becoming more common, but this varies depending on the store, so it's a good idea to carry a transportation IC card or a small amount of cash.
One last thing: The latest information about the museum (opening hours, attraction cancellations, ticket information, crowd forecasts, etc.) is updated regularly on the official website and official social media. Be sure to check the official information before your visit and plan your stay to make the most of it.
