Overview (history, characteristics, attractions)
Notojima Glass Art Museum is a museum specializing in glass art, located on Notojima Island in Nanao City, Ishikawa Prefecture. It mainly houses and exhibits works by contemporary glass artists from Japan and abroad, and you can view glass works that make use of transparency and light up close. Other major attractions include the exhibition layout that makes the most of the museum's seafront location, the glass sculptures installed outdoors, and the view of Nanao Bay from the exhibition room.
