[Overview (history, characteristics, attractions)]
Inage Seaside Park is a vast seaside park stretching along Tokyo Bay, and is one of Chiba City's most famous recreational zones. Developed on reclaimed land and the coast, it offers an open landscape where the sea and greenery blend in harmony. It is popular for a wide range of uses, including swimming in the summer, barbecues in season, strolls and jogging, and family picnics. Another major attraction is the excellent ocean views, allowing you to enjoy the scenery and sunsets across Tokyo Bay to the opposite shore.

[Highlights]
- Seaside beach: In the summer, it is open as a swimming beach and you can play on the sand (swimming periods and lifeguard deployment change each year, so please check).
- Lawn Square/Picnic Zone: A spacious lawn where you can spread out a sheet and enjoy a picnic or other leisure activities. It is a safe space for families with children.
- Playgrounds and children's facilities: There are playgrounds and play areas for small children, making it a great place for families.
– Cycling and walking paths: The seaside promenade is perfect for walking, jogging, and cycling (bicycle rental availability varies depending on the season).
- Barbecue area: There are designated barbecue areas, but reservations are often required, so please check in advance. Open fires are generally prohibited.
- Marine activities: There are bases nearby for marine sports that take advantage of the sea breeze, such as windsurfing and yachting (schools and rentals are available at separate facilities).
– Sunset viewing spot: On clear days, you can see a beautiful sunset, making it a popular spot for taking photos.

[Access (nearest station, transportation, etc.)]
- Train + Walking: Accessible by foot from JR Keiyo Line's Inage-kaigan Station (walking time is approximately 10-20 minutes depending on the route). From JR Sobu Line's Inage Station, it is convenient to take a bus or taxi.
- Bus: There are buses that run from Inage Station, Inage-kaigan Station, etc. to the park entrance (please check in advance as routes and times vary depending on the route).
- By car: There are parking lots in the area, but they tend to get crowded on weekends and in the summer, so we recommend using public transportation. Please check the number of parking spaces, fees, and opening hours in advance.
- Bicycles: The areas around the seaside parks are easily accessible by bicycle, and bicycle racks may be available.

*Traffic information and travel times are approximate. Please check the official website or map app for the latest information on operation status, walking routes, and parking information.

[Estimated stay (estimated time required)]
– Short trip (walking around/viewing the sunset): 30 minutes to 1 hour
– Standard (play equipment, walks, snacks): 1.5 to 3 hours
– Half day to full day (beach activities, BBQ, sports): Half day to full day (3 to 8 hours)
The length of time you stay will vary depending on your purpose. If you plan to go swimming or have a barbecue in the summer, you should allow half a day to a full day.

[Nearby spots]
- Commercial facilities and restaurants around Inage-kaigan: There are many convenient stores for snacks and shopping around the station.
– ZOZO Marine Stadium (Chiba Marine Stadium): A base for watching baseball games and holding events (accessible by public transportation from Inage Seaside Park).
- Makuhari area (Makuhari Messe, Makuhari New City): Full of events, shopping, and restaurants. Within easy reach by car or train.
- Tourist facilities, museums, etc.: You can also visit seaside tourist spots and cultural facilities in the Chiba City area.

[Points to note (crowds, manners, seasonal precautions, etc.)]
- Crowds: The area gets extremely crowded during the summer beach season, weekends, holidays, and on days when fireworks and other events are held. Parking lots tend to fill up and access can become congested, so we recommend using public transportation or arriving early.
- Manners: Always take your trash with you or dispose of it in designated areas. Pets must be kept on a leash and owners must clean up their feces. Please follow the rules, such as not entering flower beds or planted areas and using barbecues in designated areas.
- Fires and fireworks: Open fires and fireworks on the street are often prohibited by park rules. Barbecues should only be held in designated areas.
- Safety: The beach can be windy on some days, so be careful of waves and currents. Take safety precautions such as not entering the water unless swimming is permitted, keeping an eye on children, and wearing a life jacket.
- Facilities and operating status: Facilities such as showers, toilets, shops, rentals, swimming periods, and how to use the barbecue area change every year. Please check the official guide or the management office in advance.
– Weather: Closures and restrictions may occur during typhoons and other severe weather. Please check the weather forecast and official information immediately before visiting.

(Additional Information) For the latest information (such as swimming season, how to make reservations for barbecues, and event schedules), please be sure to check the official websites and management offices of Chiba City and Inage Seaside Park.
