Overview (history, characteristics, attractions)

Mount Bizan is a mountain rising approximately 290 meters above the urban area of Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture, and has long been a beloved landmark of Tokushima (formerly Awa Province). Its proximity to the city makes it easy to visit, and the summit offers a magnificent view of the Yoshino River, Tokushima City, and the Seto Inland Sea. The night view from dusk to night in particular has been dubbed the "10 million dollar night view," making it a popular date spot and photography spot.
