Mount Bizan is a mountain rising approximately 290 meters above the urban area of Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture, and has long been a beloved landmark of Tokushima (formerly Awa Province). Its proximity to the city makes it easy to visit, and the summit offers a magnificent view of the Yoshino River, Tokushima City, and the Seto Inland Sea. The night view from dusk to night in particular has been dubbed the "10 million dollar night view," making it a popular date spot and photography spot. Access from the base to the summit is via a walking trail (hiking course) or a ropeway (please check operating conditions), and you can enjoy the natural beauty of cherry blossoms and autumn leaves in each season.

Access (nearest station, transportation, etc.)
- Nearest station: JR Tokushima Station (Tokushima city center). Access to Mt. Bizan is possible from the station.
- public transportationFrom JR Tokushima Station, you can walk, take a city bus, or take a taxi to the base of the mountain. On days when the ropeway is operating, you can also take the ropeway to the summit. Please check the bus routes and ropeway operating times in advance.
- Cars and parking: Accessible by car from the city. Parking is available around Bizan Park and at the foot of the mountain, but due to limited space, we recommend arriving early during peak seasons.

Things to be aware of (crowds, manners, seasonal precautions, etc.)
- congestion: It gets crowded in the evenings and at night, and during the summer Awa Odori festival. Parking lots and observation decks get especially crowded on weekends, so we recommend arriving early.
- Ropeway operation: Service may be suspended due to bad weather or inspections. Please check the official website or on-site in advance for operating hours and holidays.
- Clothing and equipment: If you are going hiking, wear shoes and clothing that are not slippery. In rainy weather, the trails can become slippery and dangerous.
- Nighttime Safety:It will be dark when you enjoy the night view, so please be careful of your footing and safety on your way home. It is also a good idea to check the last public transport times.
- Nature and environmental considerations: Please be sure to take your trash with you, avoid touching plants and animals, and stay on designated paths.
- Seasonal precautions: Be careful of insects (mosquitoes) and heat in the summer, and cold and frozen roads due to snow in the winter. The area gets more crowded during the cherry blossom and autumn foliage seasons.
