Overview (history, characteristics, attractions)
Tsumekizaki is a small cape jutting out from the southwestern part of Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and is a spectacular spot offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. The contrast between the rugged reef and the blue sea is beautiful, and seasonal flowers bloom on the grasslands around the cape. It is particularly known for the tens of thousands of daffodils that bloom there in the winter, and is beloved by locals as a "famous daffodil spot." You can also see the morning sun rising over the horizon, and on good nights, you can see the "moon path" stretching across the sea, making it a highly appealing scenic spot.

- Manners: To protect the environment, please observe designated walking paths and restricted areas. Always take your trash home with you or dispose of it in designated areas.
- Safety: Rocks and rocky shores can be slippery and the waves can be strong on some days. Avoid entering the beach without permission or taking photos in dangerous places, and keep an eye on children, especially if you are traveling with them.
