Okayama Korakuen Garden is one of the most representative Japanese gardens in Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture, and is considered one of Japan's three most famous gardens. Designed as a daimyo garden during the Edo period, it was designed around a pond and has a strolling garden, and its appeal lies in its integrated landscape with the castle town and Okayama Castle (Crow Castle). The vast grounds are decorated with a pond, artificial hills, stepping stones, a teahouse and study on the pond's edge, and other features, allowing visitors to enjoy the changing scenery throughout the seasons. In addition to experiencing the historical background and garden aesthetics of samurai culture, the garden is also popular as a place of relaxation for local residents and tourists alike.

- Walking: Approximately 15-20 minutes (walk from the station towards the castle and garden area)
- Tram/bus: From Okayama Station, take the tram or bus to the nearest stops, such as "Korakuen-mae" or "Joka," which are about 5-10 minutes away. From the stops, it's just a few minutes' walk.
- Taxi: Approximately 5-10 minutes from Okayama Station (depending on traffic conditions)
- By car: Paid parking is available nearby (number of spaces and fees may vary, so please check in advance). Parking is likely to fill up on weekends and during peak tourist seasons.
- Bicycles: Accessible by bicycle from the city. There are bicycle parking lots around the park, but the number of spaces may be limited.

- Crowds: It tends to get crowded during cherry blossom and iris season, Golden Week, and weekends. Early mornings and weekday mornings are relatively quiet.
- Manners within the park: There are areas on the grass that are off-limits and designated rest areas. Be sure to take your trash with you or to a designated area. Please be careful not to disturb others around you by talking or partying in a loud voice.
- Pets: There may be restrictions on pets within the garden. Please check in advance (many Japanese gardens have restrictions such as only allowing pets in their arms or in special carts).
- Footwear and Clothing: In addition to paved surfaces, the park also has cobblestone and gravel walkways and steps. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
- Seasonal precautions: In summer, the sun and heat are strong, so wear a hat and stay hydrated. In winter, snow and ice can make the ground slippery. Some areas may be closed when events are held.
- Photography/Drones: General photography is permitted, but there may be restrictions on the use of tripods, commercial photography, and drones. Prior permission is required for commercial photography.
