Cape Futtsu is a peninsula-like cape jutting out into Tokyo Bay in Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture, characterized by its long tip formed by the accumulation of sand and mud. It is known for its open feeling of sea and sky, views of the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line and the Boso and Miura Peninsulas on the opposite shore, and is particularly famous as a sunset spot. The area around the cape has been developed as Futtsu Park, with a grassy plaza, promenade, observation tower, and more, making it a popular place for strolling, picnics, bird watching, fishing, and enjoying the seaside scenery. It is also a popular spot for observing migratory birds in different seasons.

Access (nearest station, transportation, etc.)
- Train + Bus/Taxi: The nearest stations are the JR Uchibo Line area (Kimitsu Station, Aohori Station, Futtsu Station, etc.). From each station, it takes about 15 to 30 minutes by bus or taxi (depending on the line and time of day). Please check the arrival station and timetable in advance.
- By car: From Tokyo, it's easily accessible via the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line, and if there's no traffic, it takes about 50 to 90 minutes from the city center. There are paid and free parking lots around Futtsu Park, but they may fill up during busy times.
- By ferry: The Tokyo Bay Ferry connects the nearby Kanaya Port to Kurihama (Kanagawa), making it possible to combine this trip with travel and sightseeing within the Boso Peninsula.

- Nokogiriyama: A famous mountain in Boso that is within driving distance. The remains of a quarry and the view are highlights.
