Toyama Glass Art Museum is an art museum showcasing contemporary glass works from Japan and abroad, with a focus on glass crafts. The location is in an easily accessible location in the center of Toyama City. Examples of transportation options:

  • Train: The nearest station is JR Toyama Station. From the station, you can walk or take the city tram (jitetsu) or bus. Generally, it is within walking distance or just a few minutes by tram.
  • Tram and bus: The tram and bus routes that run through Toyama City are convenient. In many cases, you can arrive at your destination in just a few minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop, so be sure to check the name of the nearest bus stop to your destination in advance.
  • By car: Parking is limited due to the city location. We recommend using a nearby paid parking lot or using public transportation.

  • Crowds: The museum tends to get crowded on weekends, holidays (Golden Week, summer vacation, New Year's holidays), and during special exhibitions. If you want to take your time viewing the exhibits, we recommend visiting on a weekday morning.
