Miyazawa Kenji Fairy Tale Village (Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture) is a group of facilities centered around a museum and park that recreates the worldview of the poet and children's story writer Miyazawa Kenji and introduces his works and life. The village is dotted with exhibits themed on the nature, flora and fauna that appear in Kenji's fairy tales and poems, as well as his view of the universe (the Ihatov worldview), an outdoor fairy tale path, and monuments, allowing people of all ages to experience the world of his works.
The permanent exhibition features replicas of manuscripts and documents, dioramas visualizing the works, and panel displays, and the museum also regularly holds events such as special exhibitions, readings, and workshops.The museum also has a museum shop and cafe on the premises, making it a popular tourist spot in Hanamaki.

- Nearest train station: Accessible from either of the major stations in Hanamaki City (Hanamaki Station or Shin-Hanamaki Station). The facility is easily accessible from the station by bus, taxi, or rental car. If you are using the Shinkansen, Shin-Hanamaki Station is often the best place to get to the facility.
- Buses and shuttles: There are direct buses and buses that operate according to the season and events. The operating hours and number of buses vary depending on the time of year, so we recommend checking the timetable in advance.
- By car: The facility is easily accessible from the nearest interchange on the Tohoku Expressway, and there is a parking lot on the premises (check the facility guide for the number of spaces and fees).
- Air: Accessible by car or taxi from Hanamaki Airport. Travel time varies depending on the mode of transportation.
