- Using Rokko Cable: Take the cable car from Rokko Cableshita at the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, then walk from Yamagami Station towards Rokko Garden Terrace to reach the museum (please check the cable car's operating hours and cancellation information in advance).

- Take the Hanshin Expressway or the national highway towards Mount Rokko. There is a parking lot near Rokko Garden Terrace, and you can access the area on foot from there (the parking lot is paid and may be full at busy times).

- Manners: Many of the exhibits are delicate crafts and cannot be touched. Each exhibit has a sign indicating whether photography is permitted or not, so please follow the instructions. Please view the exhibits quietly.
- Weather and cold weather: The temperature on Mt. Rokko is lower than on the plains, so you should prepare for the cold, especially from autumn to spring. In bad weather, the cable car and some facilities may be closed or have reduced opening hours.
- Transportation: Public transportation to the top of the mountain can be limited, so be sure to take note of your return time. If you are traveling by car, be sure to plan your trip with plenty of time as parking lots may fill up.
