Overview (history, characteristics, attractions)

Kyocera Dome Osaka is an indoor multi-purpose dome stadium located in Nishi-ku, Osaka City. Completed in the 1990s, it originally opened as the "Osaka Dome." In 2006, Kyocera acquired the naming rights, giving it its current name. It is a popular urban arena that hosts a variety of events, including professional baseball games (it is one of the home stadiums for the Orix Buffaloes), concerts, large-scale events, and exhibitions.

Its features include the fact that it is an all-weather indoor facility so you can enjoy events regardless of the weather, the proximity of the spectator seats to the stage and grounds making for a more realistic experience when watching live concerts or sports, and its easy access (it's a location that's easy to get to from the city center). There are also restaurants and commercial facilities around the venue, making it an attractive place to spend time before and after an event.

  • Seasonal precautions: Even though the venue is indoors, there will be temperature differences when entering and exiting. Please be careful to take precautions against heatstroke in the summer, keep warm in the winter, and handle umbrellas in the rain (fold them inside the venue).
