Busena Marine Park is an underwater tourism facility located at Cape Busena in Nago City, in the northern part of Okinawa's main island. Its greatest attraction is the opportunity to observe the beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish up close. It is known for its underwater observation tower, which allows visitors to enjoy the underwater scenery without entering the water, its glass-bottom boat, and as a base for snorkeling and diving in the surrounding area. It is adjacent to resort areas (such as Hotel Busena Terrace), making it convenient for combining a stay with nature observation. When the water is clear, you can observe colorful coral and a wide variety of fish, making it popular with families and seniors.

- Underwater observation tower (underwater observation deck): You can observe coral reefs and tropical fish up close through windows below sea level. You can enjoy the underwater world without getting wet, so it's safe for people who can't swim and those with small children.
- Glass-bottom boat: The bottom of the boat is made of glass, so you can observe the underwater scenery while moving. Operation is subject to change depending on the waves and weather, so please check in advance.
- Snorkeling and divingThe surrounding waters are also popular as a spot for snorkeling and trial diving. The rule is to observe the corals and tropical fish from a distance without touching them.
- Cape Busena sceneryThe views from the observation deck and the promenade on the cape are also appealing. The view of the blue ocean and cliffs is also recommended as a photo spot.
Access (nearest station, transportation, etc.)
- Nearest station: There is no train network on the main island of Okinawa, so there is no nearest station. Public transportation is mainly by bus.
- By car: Approximately 1-1.5 hours from Naha Airport via the Okinawa Expressway, Kyoda IC, and approximately 15 minutes from Nago City (depending on traffic). Parking is available (paid/free parking varies by facility, so please check).
- Bus: Take the express bus from Naha Airport to Nago Bus Terminal. From Nago, take a local bus or taxi towards Busena (please check the timetable in advance as there are limited routes and buses).
- Taxis and tours: Sightseeing tours departing from Naha and local taxis are convenient. For groups, renting a car is recommended as it offers greater flexibility.
- Check official information: Opening hours and operation status (glass-bottom boats, etc.) vary depending on the weather and season, so please check the official website or facility before visiting.

- Underwater observation tower and glass-bottom boat only: 1-2 hours
- Day trips including snorkeling and introductory diving: Half a day to a full day (including time to apply for activities and change clothes)
- Resort stay + leisurely sightseeing: We recommend staying at least one night and combining it with sightseeing in the surrounding area (such as at the Churaumi Aquarium).

Things to be aware of (crowds, manners, seasonal precautions, etc.)
- Cancellation due to weather or sea conditions: Visibility from the glass-bottom boat and observation tower is subject to weather and wave conditions, especially during typhoon season (summer to autumn), so please check official information in advance.
- Congestion during peak season: It gets crowded during summer vacation, Golden Week, Obon, etc. Advance reservations are recommended for boat rides and activities.
- Nature conservation etiquettePlease observe the rules, such as not stepping on the coral, not feeding the fish, and not touching them. Please be considerate when taking photographs or observing the area to help protect the environment.
- Sun protection and safety at sea: Okinawa's ultraviolet rays are strong, so please bring sunscreen, a hat, a rash guard, etc. When snorkeling, please wear a life jacket and follow the instructor's instructions.
- Equipment/clothing: Since you will be using the beach facilities, it is convenient to bring a change of clothes, towels, and shoes that you don't mind getting wet (marine shoes). Please check the barrier-free status and facilities in advance.
