Overview (history, characteristics, attractions)
Tanesashi Coast is a coastal landscape stretching across the southeastern part of Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, characterized by a unique landscape of green grassland (natural lawn) facing the sea, rough seas and reefs. Since ancient times, grassland along the coast has been used for hay harvesting and grazing, and as a result, the grassland that stretches along the coast has been preserved. The contrast between the Pacific Ocean and the green grassland is photogenic, making it a popular spot for strolls, picnics, and sunset viewing.
