Overview (history, characteristics, attractions)
Shiroi Koibito Park is a tourist facility operated by Ishiya Confectionery, the company that produces and sells Shiroi Koibito, a sweet that is representative of Sapporo. With an exterior reminiscent of a European confectionery workshop, it is a theme park-like spot that combines a factory tour where you can see the chocolate and cookie manufacturing process, workshops where you can try your hand at making things, cafes and shops, seasonal gardens, and more.
Its unique features include not only the opportunity to see the manufacturing process, but also limited edition products that can only be purchased here, a commemorative photo spot, a mechanical clock show, and a menu of experiences that can be enjoyed by both children and adults. The combination of Hokkaido's snowy scenery and sweets is popular with tourists, and it is also known as a photogenic spot.
