Overview (history, characteristics, attractions)
The Osaka Museum of History is a museum that comprehensively introduces the history and culture of Osaka from ancient times to the present day. In addition to excavated materials and actual artifacts, the museum displays reconstructed models, large-scale dioramas, and a combination of video and audio to clearly convey the transitions of the capital city and city, including the ancient Naniwa Palace, as well as changes in civic life. The building itself is multi-story, and one of its attractions is the view of Osaka Castle Park and the Osaka cityscape from the upper floors.
