Kinosaki Onsen is a hot spring town that has flourished as a therapeutic hot spring resort since the Edo period. The townscape, lined with seven outdoor baths, willow trees and the Otani River, exudes a sense of atmosphere, and nighttime strolls in yukata are a popular pastime.

Get off at JR Kinosaki Onsen Station. It takes about 2 to 2.5 hours by express train from Kyoto or Osaka.

It is possible to do a day trip, but it is recommended to take a stroll in a yukata at dusk and in the morning.
