Wakayama Marina City is a resort complex built on an artificial island in Wakayama City. Taking advantage of its location facing the harbor, it is home to a European-style theme park called Porto Europa, a seafood market called Kuroshio Market, hotels, a marina, shopping and dining facilities, and seasonal events. Developed with the aim of attracting tourists and revitalizing the local area, it is popular with a wide range of people, including families, couples, and gourmet travelers. Its major attractions are the open atmosphere close to the sea, tuna cutting shows held right in front of you, and meals made with local seafood.

• car: Accessible from the Hanwa Expressway (via the Kinki Expressway and Hanwa Expressway). Paid parking is available on site. It gets crowded on weekends and during peak seasons, so we recommend leaving early.
• From the airport: Accessible by train, bus, or car from Kansai International Airport. There are direct buses, or the most common route is to take a train to Wakayama Station and then take a bus or taxi from there.
