- Busy times: The shrine gets very crowded during New Year's, cherry blossom season (late April to early May), and the Sapporo Festival (usually mid-June). Please allow plenty of time for your visit.
- Worship Manners: Please purify yourself at the temizuya (purification fountain), bow twice, clap twice, and bow once. Please refrain from shouting or eating or drinking in front of the worship hall.
- Regarding photography: Photography is generally permitted within the temple grounds, but photography may be restricted inside the main hall or during festivals. Please follow the signs.
- Clothing and cold weather: Sapporo experiences large temperature differences depending on the season. In winter, prepare for the bitter cold and snowy roads by dressing warmly and taking measures to walk.
- Parking/Transportation: Due to limited parking, we strongly recommend using public transportation on busy days and during festivals.
