Cape Irago is a cape located at the southern tip of the Atsumi Peninsula in Tahara City, Aichi Prefecture. It is a scenic tourist destination that marks the border between the Pacific Ocean and Mikawa Bay. Its natural scenery, consisting of a white lighthouse, expansive ocean views, sandy beaches, and rocky areas, is captivating, and it is also known as a famous spot to watch the sunrise and sunset over the Pacific Ocean. From Toyohashi Station, take a local bus (such as Toyotetsu Bus) bound for Irago and get off at Irago Misaki or Koijigahama bus stops.
