Jinpukaku is a Western-style guesthouse located in a corner of Hisamatsu Park (the former site of Tottori Castle) in the center of Tottori City. Built in the late Meiji period, it is characterized by its fusion of an exterior that incorporates the European architectural style of the time with Japanese design. The elegance of the exterior, the interior furnishings, and the interior decoration that makes use of wood and plaster attract many visitors as a valuable relic that conveys the trend toward modernization in a local city during the Meiji period.

- Nearest station: JR Tottori Station is the closest station, and it can be accessed on foot or by bus from Tottori Station.
- Walking: It takes about 20 minutes to walk from Tottori Station to Hisamatsu Park and Jinpukaku (this varies depending on walking speed and route).
- Bus: Take a Tottori City bus and get off at Hisamatsu Park or the bus stop in the city center. Check the route and schedule in advance.
- By car: Accessible from the Tottori Expressway and national highways. There are parking lots in the area, but please note that they may fill up during the tourist season.
- Taxi: Approximately 5-10 minutes by taxi from Tottori Station (depending on traffic conditions).

- Tour of the interior of the building: Approximately 30 to 60 minutes (approximately 1 hour if you want to take your time looking at the exhibits).
- If you include strolling around the park and taking photos, you should allow yourself 1-2 hours in total.

- Hisamatsu Park/Tottori Castle Ruins: Located in the same park as Jinpukaku, you can stroll around historical sites such as the castle ruins' stone walls and castle tower base.

- Tottori Sand Dunes: Approximately 30 minutes by car from the city center. This is one of Tottori's most famous tourist spots, so if you have time, be sure to visit it as well.

- Crowds: Visitors increase during peak tourist seasons, weekends, and cherry blossom season, and the museum and surrounding parking lots can become crowded. Please allow plenty of time for your visit.
