Mishima Skywalk is a pedestrian-only suspension bridge in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and is known as one of the longest suspension bridges in Japan (with a total length of approximately 400m). Since it opened in 2015, it has gained popularity for its views of Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay, the Hakone mountain range, and the beautiful valley surrounded by lush greenery. On clear days, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Access (nearest station, transportation, etc.)
- Nearest station: Mishima Station on the JR Tokaido Main Line and Tokaido Shinkansen. Mishima Station is also a Shinkansen stop, making it easily accessible from the Tokyo metropolitan area.
- Shuttle bus: Direct shuttle buses often operate from Mishima Station, taking approximately 15 to 25 minutes (operating hours and frequency vary depending on the season). Please check the official website or information in advance to confirm the timetable.
- Taxi/Rent-a-Car: Approximately 15-25 minutes by taxi from Mishima Station. From the Tomei Expressway or Shin-Tomei Expressway, it is approximately 20-30 minutes by car from the nearest interchange. Parking is available on-site (number of spaces and fees vary by facility).
