Huis Ten Bosch is a large theme park that recreates the streets of the Netherlands and opened in 1992. It is a tourist complex that combines architecture, gardens, accommodation, restaurants, shopping facilities, and attractions, with a European (especially Dutch) landscape that includes canals, windmills, and tulips. Although it faced financial difficulties in the 2000s, it has since recovered and has regained popularity in recent years with a large-scale illumination event called the "Kingdom of Light," seasonal flower festivals, and the latest entertainment (robot shows, 3D/4D theaters, VR attractions).

• Nearest station: Huis Ten Bosch Station (JR Kyushu Omura Line) — it's just a few minutes' walk from the station to the park entrance.
• From Fukuoka (Hakata): Take the JR express train or highway bus for approximately 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours (depending on the train or flight).
• From Nagasaki Airport (Omura): Approximately 30-45 minutes by airport limousine bus or direct bus (varies depending on the flight).
• From central Sasebo: Approximately 20-30 minutes by JR, local bus, or taxi.
• Access by car: Use the Nishi-Kyushu Expressway or local roads. There is a paid parking lot within the park (it gets crowded during events).

• Crowds: The park is extremely crowded on weekends, consecutive holidays (Golden Week, Obon, New Year's), during the winter illuminations, and during the spring flower season. We recommend purchasing your admission ticket and passport online in advance.
• Weather and clothing: As it is a seaside location, windy days can occur, so please take measures to protect yourself from the wind. In winter, it can get cold during the night illuminations. Please bring rain gear and comfortable walking shoes.

• Food & Drink / Payment: Larger stores are increasingly accepting cards, but food stalls and smaller stores may only accept cash, so it's a good idea to have some coins on hand.
