Takekoma Shrine is a beloved shrine in Iwanuma City, Miyagi Prefecture, that serves as the local guardian deity. - Crowds: The shrine gets very crowded on New Year's visits and festival days. If you want to avoid the crowds, we recommend visiting on weekdays or early in the morning.
- Worship Manners: Please observe the proper etiquette for purifying yourself at the temizuya (purification fountain), worshiping (two bows, two claps, one bow, etc.), and worship quietly. Please be considerate in areas where photography is prohibited and during prayers.
- Goshuin/Shrine office: The shrine office may have limited opening hours. If you would like to receive a goshuin, please check the opening hours in advance.
