Things to be aware of (crowds, manners, seasonal precautions, etc.)
- Crowds: It gets especially crowded in the evenings and at night. Parking lots and observation areas can fill up on weekends, consecutive holidays, New Year's, Valentine's Day, Christmas, and other events, so we recommend arriving early or using public transportation.
- Manners: Please remember to be considerate of other tourists and local residents by not shouting on observation decks or promenades, taking your trash with you, and when using a tripod to take night photos, being mindful not to obstruct other traffic.
- Weather and visibility: The night view can vary greatly depending on the weather, humidity, and visibility. On rainy or hazy days, visibility may be poor and the view may not be as good as expected.
- Protection from the cold and insects: Because of the altitude, it gets cold in the evenings. Please bring a jacket appropriate for the season. In the summer, as it is a mountainous area, there may be many insects, so we recommend taking insect repellent.
- Check facility information: Ropeway operating hours, shop and restaurant opening hours, and parking lot opening and closing times may change depending on the season, inspections, or events, so please check the official website or local information for the latest information before visiting.
