Overview (history, characteristics, attractions)
Tokyo International Forum is a large convention complex located in Marunouchi, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo. It opened in 1996 and was designed by internationally acclaimed architect Rafael Viñoly. Its large roof, reminiscent of a ship's sail and made extensive use of glass and steel, and its long glass atrium are iconic features, making it a landmark in the modern cityscape.
It hosts a wide variety of events, including concerts, international conferences, exhibitions, and stage performances, and is attractive for its well-equipped facilities, including sound and stage equipment, meeting rooms, and exhibition halls. It also has a great sense of openness as a public space, and is enjoyable just to stroll through the large glass-walled space.

- Eating, drinking, and photography etiquette: Eating, drinking, and photography may be restricted in the halls of the building. Please follow the instructions of each event and staff. Please be considerate of others when eating and drinking for long periods of time in shared spaces such as the atrium, or when occupying large groups of people.

- Barrier-free: Wheelchair-accessible entrances, elevators, and multi-purpose toilets are available, but special procedures may be required for certain performances or events. It is best to inquire in advance to ensure availability.
- Seasonal information: The park can get crowded during the New Year holidays, Golden Week, and during major summer exhibition seasons. Events in the outdoor plaza are subject to the weather.
