- Crowds: The area is particularly crowded on weekends, holidays, during the summer beach season, and at dusk, and parking lots and sidewalks can become congested. We recommend using public transportation and arriving early.
- Shrine Manners: Bentensha is a Shinto shrine. When visiting, please be quiet, observe the proper etiquette for offering money and praying, and do not enter any restricted areas around the shrine, such as the torii gate.
- Safety precautions: Be aware of tides and slippery rocks. When playing in tide pools, be mindful of ocean safety and wear appropriate gear such as life jackets where required.
- Seasonal precautions: The sun is strong in summer, so take precautions against heatstroke and jellyfish when swimming in the sea. It is cold at dusk in winter, so dress warmly. There are days in spring and autumn when the wind can feel strong.
- Garbage and Environmental Protection: To protect the environment and the shrine, please take your garbage home or dispose of it in designated areas. Please refrain from collecting garbage without permission or damaging the flora and fauna.
- Pets/Drones: If you have pets, please be considerate of those around you and make sure to clean up any droppings, etc. When using drones, please check regulations and ensure they do not cause any inconvenience to the surrounding area.
