Kamogawa Sea World is a large marine theme park-style aquarium located in Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture. Since opening in the 1970s, it has gained popularity for its marine mammal shows, including killer whales (orcas), and large-scale aquarium exhibits. Nearest station: JR Sotobo Line "Awa-Kamogawa Station"

  • Train: From Tokyo, take the JR Limited Express (Wakashio, etc.) to Awa-Kamogawa Station. The journey time from Tokyo Station is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours (varies depending on the type of train and time of day).
  • Access from the station: From Awa-Kamogawa Station, you can take a local bus, taxi, or walk. It takes about 20-30 minutes on foot, and 5-10 minutes by taxi. The number of local buses varies depending on the season and schedule, so we recommend checking in advance.
  • By car: Access via the Tateyama Expressway or local roads. There is a paid parking lot on-site (limited space available). It may take some time to enter and exit the parking lot during peak hours, so it is best to arrive with plenty of time to spare.
  • Expressway bus: There are seasonal and direct bus services. Availability and travel time may vary depending on the departure point and time of year, so please check official information.

  • If you want to watch a few main shows and leisurely explore the exhibits in the museum: 3-4 hours (half-day course)
