Overview (history, characteristics, attractions)
Izunokuni Panorama Park is a tourist facility in Izunokuni City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Take the ropeway (Mount Katsuragi Ropeway) to the top of the mountain to get a panoramic view of the Izu Peninsula, Suruga Bay, Mount Fuji, and the Izu Islands. The mountain's altitude is just right, and on clear days you can enjoy a vast panoramic view, hence the name "Panorama Park." With beautiful seasonal flowers (such as azaleas in spring, hydrangeas in early summer, and autumn leaves), the park is a popular base for promoting local tourism.

- Clothing and equipment: The temperature at the summit can be lower than on the ground, so it's a good idea to bring a jacket and comfortable walking shoes.
- Nature Conservation and Manners: Please observe nature conservation rules, such as not trespassing on flowers and plants, taking your trash home with you, and avoiding the use of fires except in designated areas.
- Pets: Please check in advance as there may be rules regarding whether pets are allowed (there are generally restrictions such as the use of carriers and leashes).
- Opening hours and fees: The ropeway's operating hours and fees, as well as the opening days of the facilities, change depending on the season and day of the week, so please check the official website or tourist information for the latest information before visiting.
